Welcome to The Temple
The Temple is a recording studio and rehearsal space based in Creech St Michael, Somerset.

Designed and built by members of ‘October Drift‘, The Temple was born out of the band’s own quest for a creative, inspiring space. We set out to build a live room with excellent acoustics—especially for drums—while maintaining a relaxed and productive atmosphere. Expect open space, natural light, and all the elements you need to feel comfortable and focused.

We serve a wide range of projects, from full-scale professional recordings to band rehearsals, demos, sessions, overdubs — whatever you need to make your music happen.

  The Temple was created by us — members of October Drift — so we know what it’s like to be on the other side of the glass. We’ve spent years writing, recording, and touring, and we wanted to build a space that feels right for that process.

  We’ve had music recorded and mixed here featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Radio X, and on Spotify and Apple Music editorial playlists. Whether you’re aiming for radio play, streaming success, or just a great recording for yourself, we’ll help you get there.

  The studio has a homely, open feel with plenty of natural light and space to breathe. We’ve put a lot of care into making it somewhere you actually want to spend time — somewhere that helps the creativity flow.
